The short version
Buttons is provided free and as-is. Use it for whatever you like, keep your own copy of anything that matters to you, and do not rely on it as a medical record.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself, and for the activity on your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it — you can end every session everywhere from Settings.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service to break the law, or to store other people’s personal information without their knowledge.
- Do not attempt to access accounts or buttons that are not yours.
- Do not attack the service or try to disrupt it for other people.
Not medical advice
Buttons records what you tell it and adds it up. It does not interpret anything, and it is not a medical device. If you are tracking feeds, medication or symptoms, talk to a professional about what the numbers mean.
Availability and your data
The service may be unavailable at times, and no uptime is guaranteed. Export anything you would be upset to lose — the CSV export on the summary screen exists for exactly this. Accounts that are inactive for a long period may be removed after notice.
Liability
The service is provided without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for any loss arising from using it, including lost or inaccurate records.
Changes
These terms may change; the date above shows when they last did. Continuing to use the service means accepting the current version.
